In mid-2026, our Board of Directors decided to change our name to Volunteer Medical Group of Eastern Massachusetts to reflect our model’s reliance on amazing volunteers of all kinds to support patients and provide clinical care. We were founded as the Free Medical Group of Eastern Massachusetts. Same mission, new name.
